"...but I need a neck-thru bass!!"

With a thru-neck and 24 frets we are of course miles away from the original bolt-on vintage Hot Wire- concept, but we had the urge to move on! Also: we keep making the original Hot Wire Bass models! Bolt-on and neck-thru are two different worlds that can exist in parallel. In fact, a neck-thru bass offers a playing feel and sound which is quite different from a bolt-on bass. |

We have put a nice figured top on the body, thus creating the Flash 245 NT Dream! Pictured is a massive 12 mm top of figured poplar on the swamp ash body. In case money is an object, we can make it without the exotic top and save some dough.

The Flash NT features the ultimate pickup and electronics combination: Two "Motherbucker" pickups (two Jazz Bass Stacked Pick ups
under one pick up cover plus three-way switch). For stage and studio, this setup offers all the famous vintage sounds of the fifties, sixties and seventies and also leaves enough room for your own creations.

The neck joint is streamlined so you can reach the 24th fret at no effort! The customer can decide himself of how many strips of wood his neck will be made.

If requested, the strings will run thru the body, the battery box is for 9 or 18 volts, and the electronics compartment cover is made of wood. So there you have it: a new bass offering a broad sound palette ranging from vintage to radical new tones!
